As a young boy, my father and uncle had a hauling business. They would go around buying used tires and reselling them in bulk in a truck just like the one in the photo: a 1949 Chevy. I have fond memories of the truck and listening to my father and uncle talk about the hauling business. Often, my father would take me with him to work on weekends, cleaning yard debris, filling old swimming pools. Many times we would go to the landfill and rummage. The experiences planted a seed that years later has sprouted into a junk removal business.
